With a great intention to get rid of black money, PM Narendra Modi has taken a tough come wise decision to ban 500 and 1000 Rupee notes in the country starting today.  People can now exchange their old 500 and 1000 Rupee notes in banks and post offices.  If you are inquisitive about what to carry to the bank or post office in order to get exchange of money without issues, then just read on.




People need to provide an ID proof in the bank in order to exchange the banned notes.  The ID proof could be a PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID etc.  The notes should be exchanged only from banks and post offices.
