Jayalalitha no more, Ajith to be Amma’s Successor. After the death of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha, a speculation had begun over the people and the party that, who will be her possible long-term successor, could be. The most repeatedly name that came out of people is surprisingly film star Ajith.

This speculation had first initiated when the Kannada daily reported that Jayalalitha had already decided Ajith as her successor in October. The AIADMK leadership is aware of this decision, she already stated that after her death Ajith will take over the AIADMK party and the senior party leader and the Loyalist of Jayalalitha O Panneerselvam will guide Ajith through the whole period of transaction. Jayalalitha no more, Ajith to be Amma’s Successor. Panneerselvam used to be a caretaker CM of Tamil Nadu during Jayalallitha absence in the past.

Ajith adopted son of Jayalalitha

There are many reports which claim that Jayalalitha considered Ajith as her adopted son, and therefore her successor. Ajith is one of among some persons that walk freely into the Poes Garden, the residence of Jayalalitha. The reports say that Jayalalitha already asked Ajith to be her successor, after her death the senior leader O Panneerselvam will be the CM and for the next elections Thala Ajith will get into the Politics under the AIADMK party. Ajith too is a Tamil Brahmin like Jayalalitha, but he spent his early life in Andhra Pradesh. It is said that Ajith will be a good choice as both the MGR and Jayalalitha are from outside the state. MGR is Nair from Kerala, while Jayalalitha is Tamil Brahmin from Karnataka.
